The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
