The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
