The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
