Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him! 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
