۞ Allah has commanded: "Do not take two gods; for He is but One God. So fear Me alone." 51 Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Him, and His the judgement for ever. So will you fear any other than God? 52 And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah. Then, when harm touches you, unto Him you cry aloud for help. 53 Then when He removes the adversity from you, at once a party of you associates others with their Lord 54 showing no gratitude for what We have given them. Enjoy yourselves awhile; but soon you will know! 55 And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent. 56 And they assign daughters to Allah – Purity is to Him! – and assign for themselves what they wish. 57 and when any of them is given the good tidings of a girl, his face is darkened and he chokes inwardly, 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that which is announced to him. Shall he keep it with disgrace or bury it (alive) in the dust? Now surely evil is what they judge. 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter, for them only is the evil state; and the Majesty of Allah is Supreme; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 60
