Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing? 67 By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell, 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein. 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 Then We shall save those who use to fear Allah and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell). 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
