In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Ta Ha 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 but as a reminder to he who fears. 3 a revelation from Him who created the earth and the high heavens; 4 The Beneficent Allah is firm in power. 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all that lies between them, and lies below the earth. 6 Whether you speak out aloud (or in a low voice), He knows what is said secretly, and even that which is most hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 And has the story of Moses reached you? - 9 Behold, he saw a fire: So he said to his family, "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 When he came close to it, a voice called out, "Moses, 11 Lo! I, even I, am thy Lord, So take off thy shoes, for lo! thou art in the holy valley of Tuwa. 12 I Myself have chosen thee; therefore give thou ear to this revelation. 13 I am God. There is no deity save Me; so worship Me alone, and say your prayers in My remembrance. 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 So do not let those who do not believe in it and follow their vain desires, turn you away from it. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 God said, "Moses, cast it down." 19 So he threw it - and lo! it was a snake, moving rapidly. 20 He said: Take hold of it and fear not; We will restore it to its former state: 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 Go thou unto Fir'awn; verily he hath waxen exorbitant. 24
