1/4 Hizb 35
< random >
And the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the Meeting in the Hereafter, and on whom We had bestowed the good things of this life, said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: he eats of that of which ye eat, and drinks of what ye drink. 33 and, indeed, if you pay heed to a mortal like yourselves, you will surely be the losers! 34 Does he give you a promise that when you are dead and turned to dust and bones, you will be raised to life again? 35 ۞ Away, away with that you are promised! 36 There is no other life than the life of the world. We shall live here and here shall we die; and we are not going to be raised again. 37 He is but a man who hath fabricated against God a lie, and in him we are not going to be believers. 38 He said, “My Lord! Help me as they deny me.” 39 Said Allah, “They will soon wake up at morn, regretting.” 40 So the (Awful) Cry overtook them rightfully, and We made them like as wreckage (that a torrent hurleth). A far removal for wrongdoing folk! 41 Then, after them, We created other generations. 42 No nation can go before its term ends nor stay back. 43 And We sent forth Our apostles, one after another: [and] every time their apostle came to a community, they gave him the lie: and so We caused them to follow one another [into the grave,] and let them become [mere] tales: and so - away with the folk who would not believe! 44 Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our signs and clear authority 45 To Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs, but they behaved insolently and they were people self-exalting (by disobeying their Lord, and exalting themselves over and above the Messenger of Allah). 46 And they said: Shall we put faith in two mortals like ourselves, and whose folk are servile unto us? 47 So they accused them of falsehood, and they became of those who were destroyed. 48 We gave the Book to Moses so that perhaps they may have guidance. 49 We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign, and gave them a refuge on a hillside where there was a hollow and a spring. 50

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
