It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 He it is who has multiplied you on the earth and to Him you shall all be gathered: 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 We and our forefathers were promised this before. This is nothing but fables of the ancients." 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
