The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
