The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 You may perhaps wear out your heart because they do not come to belief. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
