My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 145 "Will you be left secure in that which you have here? 146 "Gardens and Springs, 147 And tilled fields and heavy-sheathed palm-trees, 148 "And you carve houses out of mountains with great skill. 149 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me; 150 "And follow not the command of Al-Musrifun [i.e. their chiefs, leaders who were polytheists, criminals and sinners], 151 Who work corruption in the land and rectify not. 152 They said: You are only of the deluded ones; 153 You are but a man like ourselves, so bring a sign, if you should be of the truthful." 154 He said, 'This is a she-camel; to her a draught and to you a draught, on a day appointed, 155 “And do not touch her with evil intentions for the punishment of the Great Day will seize you.” 156 But they killed her, and then they became regretful. 157 For they were seized by the torment.
