Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
