Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 He abandoned his people 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 Now, ask them, has your Lord daughters, and they sons? 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What ails you then, how you judge? 154 Do you not understand? 155 Or have you clear evidence? 156 “Then bring forth your Book, if you are truthful!” 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 Glorified be Allah from that which they attribute (unto Him), 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 except him who shall roast in the Blazing Fire. 163 (Gabriel said to the Prophet): 'Each of us has a known place. 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 And there were those who said, 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 "We should certainly have been Servants of Allah, sincere (and devoted)!" 169 Yet now (that it has come) they refuse to believe in it; but they will come to know soon. 170 And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent. 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 When it descends upon their courtyards, evil will be the morning of those forewarned. 177 So turn away from them for a while. 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Exaltations be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above that they describe! 180 and peace be upon the Messengers, 181 And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
