Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 From which you turn away. 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
