Allah it is Who hath appointed for you cattle, that ye may ride on some of them, and eat of some - 79 And for you therein are [other] benefits and that you may realize upon them a need which is in your breasts; and upon them and upon ships you are carried. 80 He shows His signs. How many of God's signs will you then deny? 81 Have they not travelled through the land to see the terrible end of those who lived before them? They were far mightier in both number and power and in what they had established. Their (worldly) gains were of no benefit to them. 82 And when their apostles came unto them with evidences, they exulted in the knowledge which was with them, and there surrounded them that which they had been mocking. 83 So that when they saw Our might, they said: "We believe in God the one and single, and reject those we associated (with Him)." -- 84 But their believing after they had seen Our chastisement did not avail them. That has been Allah's Way concerning His servants. And the unbelievers courted utter loss, then and there. 85
