The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ WHEN WHAT IS to happen comes to pass -- 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 You will become three categories: 7 Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 And shade extended 30 and flowing water, 31 and fruits abounding 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 And have made them virgins. 36 chastely amorous, 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
