But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And what you do not see 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
