Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 separating one from another, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 That is how We reward the good. 21 for an appointed term? 22 Eat and enjoy for a while: You are certainly sinners. 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 the living and the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
