Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
