Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are made to flow forth, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 Honorable recorders, 11 They know whatever you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
