Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
