The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
