The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning hours 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Sustainer has not forsaken thee, nor does He scorn thee: 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
