Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Have We not expanded thee thy breast?- 1 And We have taken off from thee thy burthen, 2 that weighed so heavily on your back, and 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 Indeed with hardship is ease. 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 and turn to your Lord with longing. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
