The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the chargers panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
