The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
