Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 For ye will behold hell-fire. 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
