The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 Would that you understood what that crushing torment is like. 5 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 closed around them 8 in columns outstretched. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
