Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 Anon he shall roast into Fire having flame. 3 His wife shall carry the (crackling) wood - As fuel!- 4 Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
