And He it is Who made for you the ears and the eyes and the hearts; little is it that you give thanks. 78 It is He Who has dispersed you all around the earth, and it is unto Him that you shall all be mustered. 79 It is He who gives you life and death, and His the alternation of night and day. Even then you do not understand, 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will surely say: God. Say thou: will ye not then fear? 87 Say: 'In whose Hands is the Kingdom of all things, He protects, and none protects against Him, if you have knowledge' 88 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “Then by what magic are you deceived?” 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
