And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 and there is not one of you but shall pass through it: a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Have you seen him who rejected Our signs and said: "Surely I shall continue to be favoured with riches and children." 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82
