The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 covered down upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
