Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 (Allah said to him): "Strike the ground with your foot: This is a spring of water to wash in, cool and a (refreshing) drink." 42 We restored his family to him with others similar to them, as a blessing from Us and a reminder for men of wisdom. -- 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter]. 46 And behold, in Our sight they were indeed among the elect, the truly good! 47 And remember Isma'il and Al-Yas'a and Zul-kifl; all of the excellent ones. 48 This is a Reminder, and indeed for the cautious is a fine return, 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are open to them, 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste women restraining their glances, (companions) of equal age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Truly such will be Our Bounty (to you); it will never fail;- 54 This is for the virtuous; and indeed for the rebellious is a wretched destination. 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 This - let them taste it: scalding water and corruption. 57 and, coupled with it, further [suffering] of a similar nature. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people rushing headlong to join you?" "No welcome to them! Indeed, they are headed for the fire!" 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
