The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 and gently take it away; 2 And by those who glide along (on errands of mercy), 3 and the outstrippers (angels), outstripping, 4 And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account). 5 On the day when the first trump resoundeth. 6 to be followed by further [convulsions]! 7 (Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety. 8 Eyes be lowered in submission. 9 They say: Shall we indeed be restored to (our) first state? 10 "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?" 11 They say: “That will then be a return with a great loss!” 12 So that is not but a single shout. 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa! 15 His Lord called to him in the Sacred Valley of Towa, 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 Then say thou: wouldst thou to be purified? 18 And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'" 19 Moses showed him the great miracle 20 In response, he denied and disobeyed. 21 Then he went back hastily. 22 Then he gathered (men) and called out. 23 Then he said: I am your lord, the most high. 24 So Allah seized him (and made him) an example for the after (life) and for the former. 25 Most surely there is in this a lesson to him who fears. 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
