[Useless, though, will be his repentance: for [as long as he was alive] he did not accept the truth, nor did he pray [for enlightenment,] 31 He rejects the faith, turns away 32 then he went to his household arrogantly. 33 Woe to you, [O man!], yes, woe to you. 34 Again, woe to you, [O man!], yes, woe to you! 35 Does the human think he will be left to roam at will? 36 Was he not once a [mere] drop of sperm that had been spilt, 37 Then did he become a leech-like clot; then did (Allah) make and fashion (him) in due proportion. 38 and fashioned out of it the two sexes, the male and the female? 39 Is not He (Who doeth so) Able to bring the dead to life? 40
