Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 excusing or warning, 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known extent. 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
