Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40
