The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun is wound up; 1 The stars turn dim and scatter, 2 And when the mountains are made to pass away, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas are set on fire, 6 when the souls shall be rejoined (with their bodies), 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 For what sin she was killed, 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 the runners, the sinkers, 16 And the night when it departs, 17 The rising dawn, 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 So where are you going? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 for whosoever of you would go straight, 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.
