The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 When Shu'aib said to them: "Will you not take heed? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 I do not ask any payment for my preaching. I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ "Give full measure, and cause no loss (to others). 181 “And weigh with a proper balance.” 182 "And defraud not people by reducing their things, nor do evil, making corruption and mischief in the land. 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 You are but a man like ourselves, and indeed, we think you are among the liars. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 (Shu'aib) said: "My Lord knows well what you are doing." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Surely, in this is indeed a sign; but most of them would not believe: 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
