The Key (Al-Faatehah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is due to God, the Lord of the Universe; 2 The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those You have blessed, Not of those who have earned Your anger, nor those who have gone astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
