The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

ALIF LAM MIM. 1 THIS DIVINE WRIT - let there be no doubt about it - is [meant to be] a guidance for all the God-conscious. 2 Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them. 3 And who believe in that which has been revealed to you and that which was revealed before you and they are sure of the hereafter. 4 These depend on guidance from their Lord. These are the successful. 5 As for the unbelievers, alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or hast not warned them, they do not believe. 6 Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing and there is a covering over their eyes, and there is a great punishment for them. 7
