Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 except the people of the right hand 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
