AND, INDEED, We have created man out of sounding clay, out of dark-slime transmuted 26 And the jinn We created before from scorching fire. 27 And when thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay of mud moulded. 28 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down making obeisance to him. 29 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 30 Except Iblis (Satan), - he refused to be among the prostrators. 31 Said He: "O Iblis! What is thy reason for not being among those who have prostrated themselves?" 32 He said: "It does not behove of me to prostrate myself before a human being whom You have created out of dry ringing clay wrought from black mud." 33 God told him, "Get out of the garden; you are rejected 34 And indeed, upon you is the curse until the Day of Recompense." 35 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 36 He said, "You are granted respite 37 “Till the Day of a well-known time.” 38 He said, “My Lord! I swear by the fact that You sent me astray, I shall distract them in the earth, and I shall lead all of them astray.” 39 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 40 [Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight. 41 Indeed, My servants - no authority will you have over them, except those who follow you of the deviators. 42 and for all such, behold, hell is the promised goal. 43 It has seven gates; for every gate is of them a portion designated." 44

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
