VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 And that indeed the punishment of Mine is a painful punishment. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. 52 "Have no fear," they said. "We bring you news of a son full of wisdom." 53 He said, "Do you bring me such news despite my old age? What kind of good news are you bringing me?" 54 They said, "We have given you the glad news for a true reason so do not despair". 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
