Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 watching over you 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
