Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
