Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'O people, I have been sent to warn you plainly. 49 Then those who believe and work righteous works - for them is forgiveness and a provision honourable. 50 whereas those who strive against Our messages, seeking to defeat their purpose - they are destined for the blazing fire. 51 And We did not send before you any apostle or prophet, but when he desired, the Shaitan made a suggestion respecting his desire; but Allah annuls that which the Shaitan casts, then does Allah establish His communications, and Allah is Knowing, Wise, 52 [And He allows doubts to arise] so that He might cause whatever aspersion Satan may cast [against His prophets] to become a trial for all in whose hearts is disease and all whose hearts are hardened: for, verily, all who are [thus] sinning [against themselves] are most deeply in the wrong. 53 At the same time those who have been given knowledge may know that this is the truth from your Lord, and come to believe in it, and their hearts become submissive to Him. Verily God guides those who believe, to the even path. 54 Those who deny the truth will continue in doubt until the [Last] Hour suddenly comes upon them or the scourge of the woeful Day descends upon them. 55 For Allah only is the kingship on that day; He will judge between them; so those who believed and did good deeds are in Gardens of content. 56 And those who disbelieved and belied Our Verses (of this Quran), for them will be a humiliating torment (in Hell). 57
