In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ TA SIN MIM. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
