In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those that pluck out vehemently 1 and gently take it away; 2 By the lone stars floating, 3 by the angels who hasten along 4 and then manage the affairs of the Universe (according to their Lord's commands). 5 A Day shall come whereon the quaking will quake, 6 The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be raised up), 7 On that Day will [men's] hearts be throbbing, 8 Cast down will be (their owners') eyes. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 [And] they add, "That, then, would be a return with loss!" 12 It will be only one scaring shout, 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 HAS THE STORY of Moses ever come within thy ken. 15 Behold, thy Lord did call to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa:- 16 and directed him: “Go to Pharaoh, he has rebelled, 17 "And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)?- 18 ‘And I may guide you to your Lord, so that you may fear.’” 19 Then Moses (went to Pharaoh and) showed him the Great Sign; 20 But he denied and disobeyed, 21 Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 and gathered his people together 23 Yet to a rich man, 24 you pay attention 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
